Athletes & Professional Trainers
Meet Erin
As a former college athlete, I can totally relate with the spirit of FIRSTDOWN Fitness. I played volleyball for Pacific Lutheran University prior to moving to California to earn my Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Once I left team sports, I struggled to find the same competitive and athletic environment at an affoardable cost. I’ve found creative ways to fulfill the need for a dynamic workout experience, and regularly compete in events like Tough Mudder and REEBOK’s Spartan Race. But I often train for these events alone. I don’t know of a local exercise program that prepares me to do the cross-functional movements required for sporting activities. What I enjoy most about group fitness is the wonderful relationships you form with people. I don’t always find that in the gym as so many people are focused on their individual workouts. I’m excited about getting back to the basics and inpiring you this summer at BOOTCAMP! We’ll be working the core, cardio, and agility so you can be ready for activities that require you to be an athlete. Join me and AP this summer, it’s going to be a lot of fun! Don’t be intimidated, we’ll do this together!
